I work with a range of psychological issues including trauma, self-harm, anxiety and depression. I am particularly mindful of the effects that stress can have on an individual’s well-being, and how it can affect one’s ability to nurture healthy relationships. I have in-depth knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and mindful parenting.

Who I am

My training and experience

I completed my clinical training at Community Psychiatry and Child, Adolescent and Family Unit in Johannesburg. Before starting private practice, I served as senior clinical psychologist at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital (Child Psychiatry).

My previous career in the financial sector has given me much insight into the levels of stress that many people experience in their day-to-day working lives. I am particularly aware of the effects that stress can have on physical and mental well-being, as well as on one’s ability to maintain healthy relationships.
